Location

Driver's footwell on the left-hand side (the centre-console side on these right-hand-drive cars): the 16-pin connector is mounted low on the underside of the lower dash panel, left of the steering column and ahead of the driver's left knee. It sits low enough that you need to get down into the footwell to see it rather than spot it from the seat. Same position on the standard Stepwagon (RK1/RK2) and the Spada (RK5/RK6), before and after the April 2012 facelift. Every RK was built right-hand drive for Japan; there is no LHD version.
