Terms of Service

1. About Keysolved

Keysolved (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a subscription-based vehicle key reference database for professional locksmiths. We provide technical specifications, transponder data, programming procedures, tool compatibility notes, and community tips for vehicle keys.

By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Subscriptions and Payment

Access to locked content (transponder specifications, programming procedures, tool compatibility, community tips) requires an active paid subscription. Free browsing covers basic vehicle information only.

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly. Your payment method is charged on the same date each month from the date you first subscribe.
  • Payment processing: Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Price changes:We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase. Existing subscribers' rates are locked in for as long as their subscription remains active and continuous.
  • Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will retry. Access may be suspended if payment cannot be collected.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then.

14-day refund policy: If you are not satisfied, email us at support@keysolved.com within 14 days of your most recent payment and we will refund that payment in full, no questions asked.

4. Acceptable Use

Keysolved is intended for professional locksmiths and automotive security technicians. You agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful, professional purposes.
  • Not share your account credentials or allow others to access the platform using your account.
  • Not scrape, copy, republish, or redistribute database content in bulk.
  • Not post community tips that are false, harmful, or unrelated to vehicle key programming.
  • Not attempt to circumvent any access controls or technical restrictions on the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Content Accuracy

We work hard to ensure the vehicle data on Keysolved is accurate and up to date. However, vehicle key systems vary by market, build date, options, and software version. Community tips reflect the experiences of individual contributors and are not verified by us.

Always verify critical information before attempting any programming procedure on a customer's vehicle. We accept no liability for damage, loss, or failed programming resulting from reliance on information provided through the service.

6. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@keysolved.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

7. Intellectual Property

All database content, procedures, and platform code are the property of Keysolved. Community tips submitted by users remain the contributor's content, but by submitting a tip you grant us a licence to display, moderate, and retain it on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keysolved and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or any information contained within it. Our total liability to you in any month shall not exceed the subscription fee paid in that month.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
