OBD port location in a Honda Accord 9th gen

9th gen (CR2/CR6) 2013–2017

Driver's side, under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column, above the footrest. The 16-pin OBD connector is recessed slightly behind the lower dash trim but fully accessible without tools. No cover to remove — the port is exposed and immediately visible once you look up and to the left of the steering column. Consistent location across all Accord trims including Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring.

OBD port location in a Honda Accord 8th gen

8th gen 2008–2012

Under the left side of the dash in the driver's footwell, outboard of the steering column, just above the hood release lever. The 16-pin connector is clipped into a cut-out in the bottom edge of the lower dash panel and faces the floor, so look up from the footwell rather than from the seat. Same position on every US 2008-2012 Accord sedan and coupe, 4-cylinder and V6, either side of the 2011 facelift; all US cars are left-hand drive. If it seems missing, look for it popped out of its bracket and hanging behind the lower dash.

OBD port location in a Honda Accord 7th gen

7th gen 2003–2007

Driver's footwell, on the lower LEFT edge of the dash to the left of the steering column, in the same area as the hood release handle and the driver's-side interior fuse box. The 16-pin connector is clipped into a cut-out in the bottom edge of the dash panel and faces straight down at the floor, so you find it by looking up from the footwell rather than from the seat; on coupes it sits below the moonroof/traction-control/fog switch bank. Same position on every US 7th gen Accord - sedan and coupe, 4-cylinder, V6 and Hybrid, 2003 through 2007 either side of the 2006 facelift. The retaining clips on the bracket are known to break, so if the port seems to be missing, look for it hanging loose behind the lower dash panel rather than assuming it was never fitted.
