From the driver's seat it is on the right-hand side of the lower dash, so on a left-hand-drive car it sits inboard of the driver, towards the centre-console end of the footwell rather than out by the door — the socket does not simply mirror across with the steering wheel. Low, facing down and awkward to see on either layout.
Driver's side, under the dashboard, between the centre console and the steering column. Located above and to the left of the accelerator pedal, in the lower-left area of the dashboard. Not visible at a glance — requires crouching and looking underneath the dash with a torch. No panel removal required. Port is well hidden and not mentioned in standard owner's handbooks.
No diagram for this one yet. Ask for one and we'll draw it. The more requests, the sooner.
