Driver's side footwell, beneath the dashboard, to the left of the steering column above the pedals. The 16-pin OBD-II connector is a white socket positioned near the bonnet release lever. No protective cover — the connector is directly accessible without removing any trim panels. Consistent location across all XA50 RAV4 model years (2018–2024) and all trim levels. Note: The 2019+ RAV4H owners have confirmed via rav4world.com forum that the OBD port does not have a cover on the XA50 generation.
