Right-hand-drive UK cars: driver's footwell, to the RIGHT of the steering column, in the lower-dash fuse panel directly beneath the headlight-levelling and instrument-dimmer switches. The 16-pin socket faces down and sits behind the fuse panel cover rather than out in the open, so you will not see it until the cover is off. Same position on every XCeed trim, petrol and plug-in hybrid, and unchanged by the 2022 facelift. Left-hand-drive cars mirror it: driver's footwell, LEFT of the steering column, behind the same lower-dash fuse panel cover.
Pull the lower-dash fuse-box cover panel off by hand on the driver's side — no tools — and the 16-pin connector is immediately behind it.
