OBD port location in a Volkswagen Jetta A7

A7 (BU) 2019–2024

Driver-side dashboard (LHD), under the steering column on the lower trim panel above the left footrest. The 16-pin connector faces downward toward the driver's left knee and is exposed with no cover panel — visible the moment you crouch into the footwell. Same location on every A7 trim from S through GLI Autobahn, regardless of bladed ignition or KESSY push-button start.

OBD port location in a Volkswagen Jetta A6

A6 2011–2018

LHD only (US market). Driver's footwell, under the lower dash edge above the left footrest (dead pedal), close to the bonnet-release lever. The 16-pin connector faces straight down, so crouch into the footwell and look up to see it. There is a fuse-panel flap on the end of the dash nearby, but you do not need to open it to reach the port. Same position on S, SE, SEL, GLI and Hybrid; confirmed on 2011-2014 cars, and the 2015 facelift kept the same lower dash.
