2013–2017

Mk7.5 (facelift)

Location

Driver's side, low on the dash behind a small pull-down storage cubby just inboard of the steering column — on LHD cars to the left of the column, on RHD (UK) cars to the right, above the pedals. Swing the cubby down and the white 16-pin connector sits behind it. Same position across all MK7.5 trims.

OBD port location in a Ford Fiesta Mk7 / Mk7.5

Mk7 / Mk7.5 2008–2017

RHD (UK/Ireland): right of the steering column on the door side, inside the small open storage cubby set into the lower dash directly below the headlight switch, above the pedals. LHD (mainland Europe): the mirror position, left of the steering column near the driver's door, behind the trim cover directly below the headlight switch. Same position on pre-facelift (2008-2012) and facelift (2013-2017) cars and on every trim including ST. If the socket isn't there, a previous owner has probably unclipped and relocated it as an anti-theft measure (common on ST models); follow the loom up behind the dash, where it is often cable-tied out of sight.

Mk7 pre-facelift 2008–2013

Driver's footwell, beneath the steering wheel on the left side, adjacent to the driver's door. Behind a small plastic cover — press or pull the cover to remove it, revealing the 16-pin connector. Same location as the post-facelift MK7 (2012-2017) dashboard. Note: UK is RHD so the driver is on the right-hand side; the OBD port is on the right (driver's) side.
