Location

Left-hand-drive only (US/Canada market). Driver's footwell, on the underside of the dash just left of the steering column, above the pedals/brake. The 16-pin OBD-II connector is exposed with no cover and faces downward, so you reach up under the lower dash edge. Same position across all P552 trims (XL through King Ranch / Platinum / Limited / Raptor).

OBD port location in a Ford F-150 14th gen

14th gen (P702) 2021–2024

LHD only (US/Canada). Driver's footwell, under the lower edge of the instrument panel directly below and just left of the steering column, above the pedals. The white 16-pin connector faces down and is exposed - reach up under the dash edge. It is a remote DLC on a short harness to the gateway module mounted behind the driver-side lower dash. Same position on all 2021-2024 trims.

OBD port location in a Ford F-150 12th gen

12th gen (P415) 2009–2014

Driver's side, on the bottom edge of the lower dash panel just left of the steering column, roughly above the driver's left knee. The 16-pin connector faces down and is screwed to the underside of the dash with two vertical screws, so you look up under the dash edge with a torch rather than straight at it. Same position on every 2009-2014 cab (Regular, SuperCab, SuperCrew) and trim including Raptor; US trucks are left-hand drive only. Ex-fleet and remote-start trucks often have a second harness or a telematics box plugged in behind the factory port, sometimes zip-tied up out of sight: if the tool will not talk, check you are on the real vehicle port and not a pass-through.

OBD port location in a Ford F-150 11th gen

11th gen (P221) 2004–2008

Under the dash on the driver's side, directly below the steering column and slightly to its right, above the pedals and roughly level with the driver's right knee. The 16-pin connector faces down, so you look up under the lower dash edge with a torch to see it. Same position on every 2004-2008 cab (Regular, SuperCab, SuperCrew) and trim; US trucks are left-hand drive only. Fleet trucks sometimes have the connector unclipped and hanging, or a telematics box plugged into it, so trace the harness down from under the column if it isn't where you expect.
