RHD (UK Vauxhall): NOT in the driver's footwell. The port is inside the passenger-side glovebox, behind a small clip-in trim panel on the inner left-hand wall of the glovebox (the side nearest the centre console), just below the passenger airbag ON/OFF key switch. The interior fuse box sits behind the same glovebox area on RHD cars, because the fuse box and diagnostic socket were not mirrored when the car was built for right-hand drive. Same position on petrol, Mokka-e/Mokka Electric and all trims (Design, GS, GS Line, Ultimate, Black). LHD (Opel Mokka, mainland Europe): driver's end of the dashboard, behind a plastic cover between the steering column and the door. Don't look under the steering column on a UK car — that is where the earlier Mokka X kept it, next to the bonnet release.
Open the glovebox fully and pull the small side panel on its inner left wall straight towards you — it is a clip-in cover, no tools needed, but it is a firm pull. The 16-pin socket faces you once the panel is off. Leave the panel off while you work so the OBD lead isn't pinched when the glovebox is closed.
