US cars are left-hand drive: the 16-pin OBD socket is up under the lower dash, left of the steering column, low down near the driver's knee bolster and close to the brake pedal. The connector faces downward toward the floor, so it sits out of direct sight - get your head into the footwell and look up at the underside of the plastic knee panel, or feel for it just behind the lower edge of that panel. Same position on every US Prius trim (One/Two/Three/Four/Five). Note the port on the later Gen 4 (2016+) car moved further left above the parking-brake pedal; on this Gen 3 it is closer in to the steering column.
