LHD: Below the dashboard on the driver's side, just left of the steering column, tucked up under the lower dash trim above the driver's left knee. The 16-pin connector (labelled DLC3) faces downward and is immediately visible when you crouch and look up from the footwell. Same location on all XW20 trims, smart-key and non-smart-key cars alike. This generation was sold left-hand drive in North America only, so there is no RHD position to document for this market.
