Driver's side footwell, beneath the dashboard, to the left of the steering column above the pedal cluster. The 16-pin OBD-II connector is positioned near the bonnet release lever area. The connector is a white socket and is accessible from a crouched position without removing any trim panels. No protective cover on most variants. Consistent across all AN120/AN130 Hilux body styles (Single Cab, Extra Cab, Double Cab), all model years (2016–2024), and all trim levels. Note: the AN120/AN130 Hilux has a truck-type dashboard layout but the OBD port is in the same relative position as passenger car Toyota models — left of the steering column in the footwell.
