RHD (Australia): driver's (right-hand) footwell, under the lower edge of the dash on the driver's side, below the driver's-side fuse panel and above the pedals. You usually need to look up from the footwell to see the 16-pin socket. Ex-rental and fleet Outlanders often have a splitter or tracker plugged in here and tucked up behind the fuse panel: follow the lead back to the factory socket. Key programming does not go through this port alone: the tool connects at the 40-pin BCM connector behind the glovebox.
