Driver's footwell (right-hand side on SA-market RHD vehicles), between the centre console and the handbrake lever, set back approximately 100–150 mm under the dashboard edge. The 16-pin trapezoidal connector sits horizontally and is visible by looking up from the floor in front of the driver's seat. Same location on all BT-50 UN trims and body configurations (single cab, freestyle cab, double cab) across the full 2006–2011 production run.
