Location

LHD: driver's side, tucked up under the lower edge of the instrument panel on the left of the cluster, immediately outboard of the driver-compartment fuse box lid. That fuse lid is the landmark to work from — it sits at the lower left of the steering wheel and pulls off by hand. The 16-pin socket sits behind the lower dash trim rather than hanging down into the footwell, so you feel for it rather than see it from the seat, and there is no separate hinged OBD flap over it. Same position on every Deliver 9 body — van, chassis cab, bus and camper conversions all share one instrument panel and one dash harness. RHD: right-hand-drive Deliver 9s are built on a different instrument harness and the socket travels with the mirrored panel to the driver's side of the cab; work from the same fuse-box-lid landmark on the right-hand side. Confirm the exact position on the van before you commit to a job — if it is not where you expect, check behind the centre-dash ashtray, which is the other place it has been found on this platform.
