RHD (UK): driver's footwell, low under the right-hand side of the dash beside the accelerator pedal and the right-hand kick panel - to the right of the steering column, the opposite side to left-hand-drive cars. The 16-pin connector is small and sits up behind the lower dash edge, so lie on your back in the footwell with a torch and look straight up. It sits just above a small driver's-side under-cover (three cross-head screws, pulls straight down); you can plug in without removing that cover, but taking it off gives room to route a smart-box harness lead. Same position on NX 350h and NX 450h+ and on all grades.
