Driver's side footwell, under the lower-left dashboard panel below the steering column, slightly left of centre. The 16-pin OBD-II connector is recessed under the lower dashboard trim and faces downward — crouch at the driver's door and look up and inward toward the steering column base to locate it. No cover panel or tool required. Consistent position across all 2017-2022 QL US production.
