Location

RHD (UK): under the lower dash directly beneath the steering column, on the centre-console side of the column and just above the pedals, with the 16-pin socket clipped to the underside of the lower dash panel and facing straight down into the footwell. It sits level with your right knee when you are in the driver's seat and just inboard of the driver's fuse-panel lid, so you have to duck your head below the wheel to see it rather than spot it from sitting upright. LHD: mirror image - under the column on the centre side, above the pedal cluster, socket facing down, immediately inboard of the driver's fuse panel. Same position on 3-door and 5-door, on every grade from '1' to '4', and it does not move on the push-button-start grade '4'.
