RHD (UK): under the lower edge of the dashboard, to the right of and below the steering wheel — between the column and the driver's door, at knee height. LHD: mirror image, on the lower left edge of the dash directly above the bonnet release lever. The 16-pin socket sits right on the edge of the lower dash panel and can be felt as well as seen. The bracket is flimsy — support the socket when you push the lead in. Same position on all Avenger trims and powertrains.
