Diagnostic port location (OBD)
Lower dashboard on the passenger side (left-hand side in RHD UK vehicles), tucked up under the edge of the dash near the centre console. No cover to remove. On RHD models, the port is positioned to the left of the steering column area — look under the lower-left instrument panel trim, above the passenger footwell. The 16-pin connector faces downward and may need a torch to locate.
