RHD (UK cars): under the dash on the driver's side, low down below the steering column in the driver's fuse box area, on the footrest side (left of the column on a UK car). It sits up under the dash lip - put your head into the footwell with a torch and look up rather than across. Same area on the hatchback and the Tourer. If you can't see it there, check right of the column above the accelerator before pulling any trim.
