Location

Right-hand-drive only (Holden was never sold LHD): driver's side, directly beneath the steering column above the pedals, built into the main dashboard fuse panel. You get to it by pulling down the hinged drop-down plastic cover/shroud under the steering wheel — the 16-pin socket sits behind it. Same position across all VY bodystyles (sedan, wagon, Ute) and trims.

How to access

Pull down the hinged plastic cover/fuse-panel shroud beneath the steering wheel by hand — no tools needed — and the 16-pin connector is exposed behind it.
