Driver's footwell, on the underside of the lower dash outboard of the steering column, in the same lower-left cluster as the hood-release handle and the headlamp and fog-lamp switch bank — the instrument-panel layout puts the connector directly below those switches, roughly where your left knee sits. The 16-pin trapezoid faces downwards and is exposed, so you can reach it from the driver's seat with the door open and no trim to remove. Same position on every trim from L and LS through LT, RS, Premier and High Country, 2018 through the 2024 Traverse Limited, and this generation was left-hand drive only across North America. If you cannot see it, sweep along the underside of the dash from the hood release outboard towards the door pillar before you start pulling panels — on high-mileage fleet cars the connector is sometimes cable-tied up out of sight after a telematics box has been pulled.
