Location

LHD (German-market car): driver's footwell, under the lower edge of the dash to the left of the steering column, directly above the footrest and below the driver's-end storage compartment that hides fuse panel SC. The 16-pin socket faces downwards, so on your back in the footwell you will feel it before you see it. Same position on all pre-facelift Golf 7 trims and body styles, keyed and Keyless Access cars alike.
