5th gen DT

Illustration — use it to know where to look.

Location

Under the driver's side of the dash, left of the steering column, tucked up beside the hood-release handle and the footwell courtesy lamp. The connector is mounted vertically (pins facing sideways/down) rather than horizontally, so it is easy to miss by eye; feel for it with a torch. Same location on all 2019-2024 DT trims. The Security Gateway module sits directly behind this port on the left side of the driver's footwell, and the CAN star connectors used for a bypass are in the same area above the park-brake pedal.
