Driver's side, bottom edge of the lower crash pad (lower dash panel) to the left of the steering column, below the fuse panel in the driver's knee bolster. The 16-pin connector faces down towards the footwell, so you find it by feel or with a torch from the footwell. Same position on SE, SEL, N Line, Limited and Hybrid.

Under the driver's side of the dash, left of the steering column. It sits low, above the bonnet release lever, in the same area as the interior fuse panel. The 16-pin connector faces down into the footwell. The position is the same on turn-key and push-button trims.

Lower dash to the left of the steering column, behind the fuse panel cover below the ActiveECO / switch panel, just above the driver's left knee. The 16-pin DLC sits at the bottom of the fuse recess facing straight out towards you. Same position on every MD sedan trim.
