II (B9)
Illustration — use it to know where to look.
Location
Low under the steering column, just to the right of the fascia fuse box (the fuse box itself is left of the column behind a tilting cover), behind the plastic trim under the column; the green 16-pin socket sits towards the right-hand side of that opening. Same position on panel van, crew van and Multispace, and unchanged through the 2012 and 2015 facelifts; the Peugeot Partner / Partner Tepee is identical.
How to access
Unclip the trim panel(s) under the steering column by hand or with a flat blade (two small covers under the wheel on most vans); the socket is visible on the right once they are off. The socket can be a tight fit with a lug on one side - wiggle the plug in firmly rather than assuming it is non-standard.
