Driver's side footwell, beneath the lower dashboard panel to the left of the steering column. The 16-pin OBD-II connector is positioned behind a small removable plastic flap or exposed directly depending on trim. Accessible without tools once the lower trim panel is opened. The OBD port is located above the pedal cluster, consistent across all V40 P1 model years (2012–2019) and all trim levels including V40 Cross Country. The port is within approximately 30 cm of the bonnet release lever.
