LHD (USA — Scion was a US-only Toyota brand, so all first-gen tC are left-hand drive): driver's footwell, at the bottom edge of the dashboard just left of the steering column, directly above and slightly right of the bonnet release lever. The 16-pin connector faces straight down, so it is easier to feel for it by hand or to look up from outside the open driver's door than to spot it from the seat. Same position across all first-gen tC trims and across the 2008 facelift.
