LHD: Driver's footwell, beneath the lower dash pad just left of and below the steering column, above the footrest. The 16-pin connector sits behind the lower trim near the knee bolster on the driver's side and is consistent across all trims for the OBD-II-equipped 1996-2000 cars. Note that very early 1995 build cars carry the older round under-bonnet diagnostic connector (OBD-I) rather than the under-dash 16-pin socket, so on a 1995 car check the engine bay round connector if the under-dash port is absent. This vehicle is sold LHD only in the North American market, so no RHD position applies.
