RHD (UK): driver's footwell on the inboard side, low down against the centre console where the padded knee roll under the dash finishes. Crouch in the door aperture and look past the brake pedal towards the console and it is there at ankle height — it does not hang down into the footwell and you will not spot it from the seat. No flap, no cover and no coin tray: the 16-pin connector sits exposed on its bracket. Same position on every E-Pace trim and on both the 2017-2020 and 2021-on cars. LHD: driver's footwell under the dash on the left-hand side of the column — do not work out the RHD position by mirroring an LHD photograph or the other way round, the socket is not in the same place relative to the console on the two builds. One thing worth knowing before you blame the car: the socket is fed by its own 5A fuse in the passenger-compartment fuse box, and that fuse changed position when the car moved to the facelift electrical architecture for 21MY, so read the label in the car in front of you rather than a diagram off the internet. A dead socket on an otherwise live car is very often that fuse.
