Driver's footwell, on the underside of the lower dash immediately to the left of the hood-release handle, outboard of the steering column and above the pedal box. The 16-pin connector faces downwards and is fully exposed — nothing to unclip, you can reach it from the driver's seat with the door open. Watch for the smaller flat white 12-pin low-speed serial data connector sitting right next to it; plug into the wider 16-pin trapezoid, not that one. Same position on every trim from SL through SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali, 2018 through 2024, and this generation was left-hand drive only across North America and the Gulf states.
