RHD (UK): driver's footwell, under the lower edge of the dashboard. The 16-pin socket is purple, clipped into the lower dash trim facing down - crouch into the footwell and look up under the dash. LHD: under the steering column, to the left of the pedals, socket exposed. Same position on every Q7 4M trim and on the plug-in hybrid. If a tracker or OBD lock has been fitted, the factory socket may have been unclipped and moved.
