Location

Right-hand-drive JDM cars: driver's side (right) footwell, on the underside of the lower dash, just below and to the right of the steering column and above the pedals, near the bonnet-release lever. The 16-pin socket is open with no cover and sits in the same place across all NHP10 trims.
