Location

Driver's side footwell, below the dashboard, to the left of the steering column, above the footrest. A removable cover panel must be pulled away to expose the OBD2 connector underneath.

2008–2015

Mk2 (3T / B6)

Location

Driver's side footwell, under and to the left of the steering wheel, inside the fuse box cover below the steering column. The fuse box cover panel must be pulled away to expose the OBD2 connector underneath. On UK right-hand-drive models the driver is on the right; the port is below the steering column in the driver's footwell, accessible after removing the fuse box cover.
