2019–2024
Driver's footwell, bottom-left of the steering column, above the footrest — directly accessible, no cover or flap required. This is a significant change from the Clio IV, which had the OBD port in the central console under a flap. The Clio V port is in the standard driver's-footwell position common to most modern vehicles.

Central console, under a small hinged cover/flap located below and forward of the gear lever, near the cigarette lighter socket. The port faces upward or forward inside the compartment. Not in the driver's footwell — this is a Renault-specific placement distinct from most other makes.

Centre console, below the stereo/climate controls, behind a small snap-off plastic cover panel. Same location on both LHD and RHD variants. The port sits roughly centrally, slightly toward the driver's side on RHD UK models. Consistent across all Clio III trims including Expression, Dynamique, GT, and Renaultsport. Some post-2009 facelift models may have a slightly different trim surround but the port location does not change.
