Location
LHD (US): under the lower edge of the driver's side dash, just right of the steering column, above the accelerator pedal and roughly in front of the driver's right knee. It faces down, so lie across the driver's seat or crouch in the door opening and look up under the dash to see it. The socket is not covered. The same position is reported on 2005 and 2008 trucks. The 2020-2021 3.8L trucks kept the D40 dash, so expect the same place.
