Illustration — use it to know where to look.
Driver's side, lower dashboard area to the left of the steering column. On the L34 (2019+), the port is tucked behind and above the lower dashboard trim panel and the knee airbag module — it is NOT visible without ducking the head under the dash. A flashlight is required. The port is accessible from beneath the panel without removing any trim; reach up and behind the lower dash fascia to feel for the 16-pin OBD2 connector. Confirmed across multiple owner reports on 2019, 2021, and 2022 Altima models.

2013–2018
Driver's side footwell, under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. No cover — the 16-pin connector is visible above the footrest immediately upon looking under the dash. Consistent location across all L33 Altima trims (2.5 S, SV, SL, SR; 3.5 SL) and body styles (sedan, coupe 2.5 S and 2.5 SL, 2013-2015 coupe only).
