Location

Left-hand-drive US cars: lower-left of the driver's dashboard, down by the kick panel to the left of the steering column. The 16-pin socket sits in a dedicated cut-out in the fuse-box cover, so a scanner or dongle slides straight in with nothing to remove. Same position across SE, SEL and Limited trims.
