Location
Under the dashboard, low down beneath the steering column, behind a snap-out plastic trim panel. Drop the panel and the 16-pin socket sits over towards the right-hand edge of that opening (towards the centre console). The connector is a distinctive yellow Fiat plug and sits behind a small protective flap. This is a left-hand-drive car in mainland Europe; in RHD UK cars the same panel-below-the-column layout is mirrored — the socket sits to the LEFT side of the under-column opening, towards the centre tunnel. Same location across all classic 500 trims (Pop, Lounge, Sport, S, Abarth, TwinAir, Cult).
