Location
Driver's footwell, under the lower edge of the dash beside the steering column, just above the footrest. LHD: bottom-left of the steering wheel, directly above the footrest, 16-pin socket facing downwards. RHD (UK): Audi places it in the driver's footwell on right-hand-drive cars too — start above the footrest on the outboard side and, if it is not there, check the other side of the column under the lower dash edge. Same socket on the SUV, the Sportback and the RS Q3 across the 2018-2025 run.

Location
Driver's side footwell, above the brake pedal, accessible without removing any trim panel. On UK right-hand-drive models the port is on the right side of the dashboard above the pedals.
