Location

RHD (UK): bottom of the driver's footwell trim, just above the pedals. It sits to the right of the steering column, just above the driver's knee. Another report for the 2012-2016 A5 puts it above the pedals, above the footrest. Not confirmed whether trim level or model year changes the position.
