Driver's side footwell, under the dashboard above the brake pedal, to the left of the steering column. The 16-pin OBD-II DLC is a white/off-white connector pointing straight down. Access by kneeling at the driver's door opening and looking up and under the lower-left dash approximately 2-3 inches behind the left pedal cluster — visible with a flashlight, no panel removal required. Forum reports at subaruforester.org (2019 OBDII Code connector location thread and 2018 OBD II Port merged thread) confirm the port is under and slightly behind the dash, directly above the brake pedal, easily visible from the driver's door opening. Consistent across all 2019-2024 SK Forester trim levels and both push-button-start and conventional ignition variants.
