Driver's side, under the dash: the 16-pin socket is set into the driver-side crash pad lower panel (the knee panel under the steering column), facing down towards the footwell, above the pedals. The body control module sits behind the same lower panel, above the brake pedal switch. Same position on LX and EX and on 2.4 and 2.7 cars (US cars are left-hand drive only).
