Location
RHD (UK): Right-hand (driver's) footwell, on the upper edge of the lower dash trim panel directly above the pedals, forward of and to the left of the footwell puddle lamp - feel up under the lip of the trim, the socket faces down. LHD: Same position in the left-hand (driver's) footwell, lower dash above the pedals. Same location on every Discovery 4 trim (GS, XS, HSE, HSE Luxury, Landmark, Commercial) and after the 2014 facelift. The socket is clipped into the lower dash panel, so on cars where an owner has fitted a dummy/blocker OBD plug, unclip the lower dash panel to find the real one behind it.
