Driver's side, under the dash: the 16-pin socket sits on the upper edge of the driver's-side lower dash trim (the lower fascia finisher), above the pedals and forward of the footwell puddle lamp. No cover to remove - look up under the lower dash edge to see it. RHD cars: right-hand (driver's) footwell; LHD cars: left-hand (driver's) footwell.
