OBD port location in a Jeep Grand Cherokee WK

WK 2005–2010

Under the lower left edge of the dashboard, outboard (left) of the steering column, above the pedals and next to the bonnet (hood) release handle. The 16-pin connector faces down, so kneel in the door opening and look up under the dash edge to see it. Same position on every 2005-2010 WK trim (Laredo, Limited, Overland, SRT8); US Grand Cherokees are left-hand drive only.

WJ 1999–2004

Under the driver's side of the dash, just above the bonnet (hood) release lever and to the left of the steering column. The 16-pin OBD-II connector faces downward and is exposed — no cover or flap to remove, it is visible the moment you duck under the dash. Same position across all WJ trims (Laredo, Limited, Overland).
