CR2025 vs CR2032: what's the difference?
Same width, same 3 volts. The CR2032 is 0.7 mm thicker and lasts longer. Use whichever your key is designed for. A thicker cell can stop the case closing, and a thinner one can rattle loose.

Questions
CR2025 or CR2032?
Sometimes it fits, but the extra 0.7 mm can stop the case clicking shut or bend the contacts. If your key says CR2025, use a CR2025.
It'll usually work for a while, but it can lose contact when the key's knocked, and it runs flat sooner. Fine to get you home, not a permanent fix.
It's printed on the old cell. Or look your car up on the key battery finder.
